1. Booking & confirmation
A trip is confirmed once you accept the proposal in writing and the retainer clears. Rates and availability are held until the retainer is received.
2. Payments
Payments follow the schedule in your proposal — typically a retainer at confirmation, a milestone payment before vendor deadlines, and the balance before departure. Late payments may release held inventory.
3. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation charges follow the terms specified in your proposal and reflect the recoverable portion from hotels and operators. We work to minimise loss on your behalf.
4. Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and, for certain journeys, mandatory. We're happy to recommend providers.
5. Documentation
You are responsible for ensuring passports, visas, and health documentation are valid for your itinerary. We provide guidance but cannot guarantee approvals.
6. Liability
Canopy & Sky acts as a curator between you and third-party hotels, airlines, and ground operators. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including force majeure, weather, or vendor failure. Our aggregate liability is limited to the value of the affected component.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
