The full itinerary delivers genuine depth across two countries. For less time, we can compress the Milan chapter or choose Split or Dubrovnik rather than both.
What happens if the Blue Grotto is closed?+
Its narrow entrance makes it highly sensitive to sea conditions; closures are common. The day proceeds as a full shared boat tour circling the island instead.
Is a visa required for both Italy and Croatia?+
A single Schengen visa covers both, since Croatia joined the Schengen Area in January 2023.
How physically demanding is the Plitvice Lakes visit?+
Wooden boardwalks are well-maintained and largely flat; the full circuit involves several kilometres of walking. Sturdy footwear recommended, some sections slippery near waterfalls.
